Marriage of convenience sounds about right to me.

If Mourinho was as ideal a candidate for Levy as Neville is making out, you'd wonder why he wasn't first choice rather than apparently Rodgers.

He’s using us. We’re using him.

Maybe it’s not a healthy relationship, especially after the love affair with Poch. That didn’t sit well with me at first but I do see the uses, and there are many.

Van Gaal was Levy's first choice before we appointed Poch, but Poch turned out to be the ideal manager for us.

Cheapskate Levy probably looked at the fees and tried to cut corners, and buy cheap by trying to nab David Brent

I imagine Mourinho was contacted 4-6 weeks prior to Poch being sacked if not longer. Contracts alone would have taken a while.
