Don Raul - the problem?

Been thinking increasingly that the issue is Raul more so than Emery. Don't get me wrong, Emery should go and if he needs to be bought out of his contract to facilitate that, it's better than the loss of European competition money. But Emery will stay as long as he's allowed to and the person allowing him to appears to be Raul Sanllehi. The same who lost us Mislintat and the one who (rightly or wrongly) blocked O'Leary coming in thus causing tensions with the old guard on the board.

This is unlikely to happen but I'm starting to see that the change we need is Raul as much as / more than it is Emery. Naturally I'd take a change of head coach because the results are the most immediate thing but I the rose tints are flaking off when it comes to Raul and, with the ineffectual ownership we have, I worry that Raul will cause longer term discontent at the club.

One thing at a time, I guess. I just hope that we get a new manager in sooner rather than later to kickstart the season and, at the very least, solidify our Europa League position (I can't see how we'll get top 4) and, in doing so, do the utmost to get PEA and Laca among others to stay.

Thursday attendance is probably going to be an all time low and if we draw or lose, which is very likely due to the opposition, I am pretty sure he will be sacked by Friday

Absolute rubbish. Saul only joined the club in Feb last year and has moved roles. Our problems go back far beyond that. If you're gong to look for someone other than Emery to blame you need to look higher up the tree. Josh Kronke perhaps?

Raul should go as well if he is backing Emery

It all starts from the top.

A small-time owner who surrounds himself with a small-time Board.

A small-time Board that then goes on to appoint a small-time Chairman, a small-time Head of Football, and a small-time Managing Director.

All of whom sit down and come up with a small-time Head Coach and his gang of small-time Assistant Head Coaches.

Then you have your other appointments. A small-time medical team, small-time CFO, small-time Operations Director, small-time Comms Director...........

.......right down to the small-time Arsenal Twitter admin.

The attendance will be low because Frankfurt fans are banned and red members are not allowed to buy tickets.

I doubt we've actually been run properly since Dein left, wenger should never have been left to have as much control as he did, maybe it was great initially to fill in the roles when the Dein family left but after they needed strong management.

I thought it would change with the new regime and they would be more cut throat but no

I already think KSE provides ineffectual leadership so... yeah. But Sanllehi is Head of Football and is, on a day to day basis, managing this shtshow.
