Sancho

United believe they are front runners for him according to the Telegraph.

Have to say I’m sceptical.

TRS, true but then the issue with Sane is actually playing time which is why I’d be surprised if City would be as desperate as us to spaff so much money up the wall for a player they aren’t desperate for. As was the case with Maguire, Fred and Sanchez.

I agree with the point about us being a graveyard for attacking talent. And I reckon he’d probably be looking at Chelsea as a far more appealing project than United.

It wouldn't surprise me.

Unpopular opinion, but I think Sancho's overrated.

Me too.

Apparently, he's having issues with the borrusia board. Maybe that's why he wants to leave.

I agree to some extent... Based on his league performances last season, his worth the price tag that's been throw around. Based on his performances in the CL and for England, he'd probably be worth less than half as much.

Good player regardless but probably not quite what we need ATM (play maker or CF would be more timely)...

Whether he can replicate his Bundesliga form in the PL is anyone's guess but this might not be the worst time to be in for him, as his stock seems to be gradually declining atm...

Everybody has their 'off days,' granted, but he was poor against Montenegro for England, and that game was essentially a shooting gallery for the forwards. If Sterling had played instead he'd have got a hattrick.

Too many players have looked the cat's pyjamas for Dortmund and stiffed in the PL, e.g,. Kagawa.

Others like Auba aren't doing too bad, even though Arsenal are cack.

He’s a London boy, grew up a Chelsea fan and is good mates with Tammy and CHO, apparently. These things aren’t the be all and end all, but will have an impact. Just a case of how much Chelsea are prepared to shell out. Rightly or wrongly, it’s always the ace in our hand when it comes to competing for signings, because we have been prepared to go that extra mile on fees and wages for certain players, whereas everyone else in the league, by comparison, have been pretty frugal.

Just as I suspected.

Looking like Sancho to Chelsea could be worth a bet perhaps.

Process

If you were a highly rated player who could potentially move to any club in the world, why would United be appealling? We're currently sh-t with a manager who is unlikely to stay long or highly rated. We're run terribly with no real signs of things improving and are nowhere near competing for top honours.

We are one of a few clubs who can afford the deal
We will pay him more
He would start every game
He came Improve us far more than he could others

And surely with the transfer ban they’ve got quite a bit of money saved up for the summer?
