We do tend to struggle against teams that move the ball well.
Olympiakos had some very good technicians and were very adept at manipulating the ball and we struggled at times to get the ball off them.
We really need to do better without the ball against these types of teams.

What looked clear today was the. trouble often came down our left as Rose is not the strongest defender and Son doesnt help him much. Son might have to up this part of his game to keep Jose happy.

How does me pointing out he will occasionally throw caution to the wind prove me wrong but it’s not common prove me wrong?

Subs are one of Mourinho’s weaknesses nowadays. Once he gets his team settled he usually waits too long to make them to change a game. You’ll get the odd occasion where he’ll throw caution to the wind and completely abandon this, but it’s not common.

I wouldn't say so...I dont suppose the opposition shared their tactics with Jose and they were certainly more attacking than most expected. The subs were a reaction to the score line and then need for better control in the CM. Spurs were also rubbish first half which had zero to do with the tactics.

Difference here being he made a very bold change inside 30 minutes. yih dont see that often unless you are having a shocker. If was proactive and worked and is refreshing to see

Also Sisokko for a good Lucas was questionable but it saw a change of formation that saw us have much greater control.

Km judging him on what I am seeing having only spent 1 week with the players. So far so good.

That wasn't throwing caution to the wind. it was a well judged tactical change up. You're just bitter

Don’t mean to take much away from the Sub, you could replaced anyone with Dier and the team would have played better, he was just a loaf in the middle of the park waddling around

He threw caution to the wind in the sense that he abandoned his principles to make such an early change. I can see I’m conversing with an early convert to the cult of Mourinho, however, so I’ll bow out.
