Was going to make this article earlier but seems as good a time as any.
I noticed on the BBC there's an article today on the best dribblers. For those who have seen Jack Grealish play this season he's been impressive, and I was surprised to see he's been more impressive than I thought according to some of his stats:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50558127
So going off that apparently he has had the most carries of a ball ending in a chance being created, which is ahead of the likes of Sterling and KDB.
Knowing that and how well he's been playing since he came back to this league, you can see now why we wanted him and I can't help but feel how things may have been somewhat different for us and Poch had he not been so badly let down by Levy when he actually got nobody instead. Only one player of course but we always talk about how much we miss the peak Dembele with his dribbles and ball retention skills.
Worth remembering for those who are quickly jumping on the Jose bandwagon and putting down Poch. If you want to put anyone down pick Levy.

Mcginn is the better out of the villa 2 imo.

McGinn is the better player but Grealish would be close to twice the price because he's English and flashy

Grealish is better than McGinn

McGinn has a really weird skill set
4th most dribbles per 90 (Centre mids)
5th least passes per 90 (Centre mids)

Does anyone other than the Scots think McGinn is better than Grealish?

Yeah that’s the impression I have. Hipsters and Scots.

would have liked Grealish at spurs and he is having a great season so far but the Villa chairman didnt wanna deal with Levy and if we wanted him we would have been royally mugged off for a ridiculously fee. In the end they did the right thing keeping him as they got themselves promoted which is worth more.

Probably best for the player as well. More and more players, and teams, from the championship are coming up and performing in the prem.
