The empty Emirates - Kroenke OUT

Two weeks ago i wrote about my hope that supporters protest the current state of affairs and boycott home games. After catching the last 20mins of the match tonight, I am glad the message has spread far amongst the many.

The next home game is a week away, versus a very competent Brighton team, a club we have yet to witness a victory since 2017.

As for the rumours of who the bookies favourite is to replace Emery - I have one thought of the possibility of Nuno EspĂrito Santo as the next Arsenal Manager, no.

This is not the Arsenal I fell in love with as a boy.
This is Arsenal Emirates.A cash cow
Fack the board.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What when they were winning everything? Which is why you chose to support them? Support your club through thick and thin you pathetic glory hunting plastic coward.

this x 1000shameful from the nomads

I started supporting Arsenal in 1978.
Hardly a glory option when I could easily have chosen Liverpool or Nottingham Forest as they were the best at the time.
So I was supporting them around the time of Terry Neil
Times were different and prices not as extortionate as now.
If I was a plastic glory hunter I would never have chosen Arsenal in the 1st place.
I had a friend who supported Spurs and still does.

Why would Nottingham Forest & Liverpool be an option for someone who lives in London anyway? Do you want a medal?

I started supporting Leeds in 1987 when they were gash, I lived in Leeds at the time and my old man was a regular, supporting anyone else at time like Liverpool was not an option. i always find it strange when people from Yorkshire support Liverpool or Man U considering they have no actual connection to that part of the country.

As opposed to “making the choice” to support based on factors out of your hands and you have no control on?

Would be interesting to know how many tickets were sold or what you reported attendance as?

If you're reporting attendance/sold 58k tickets then it's hardly a boycott, they're still getting the money its just the fans didn't turn up.

Likely the case. They won't be prepared to actually jack in their season tickets or not buy match day ones. Because if they do that they might have to go to the back of the queue when we start winning games again and they're happy to support the team. Empty seats was as empty a gesture as the Kronke's summer spending.

Lots of tickets weren't sold because of safety concerns regarding the Frankfurt fans, who were banned. As such the club did not make tickets available to red members, who usually make up a large percentage of match attending fans in the Europa.
