Not feeling this Caretaker thing with Freddie at all. Unless it is a definitive temporary role with scheduled end. Or "Caretaker whilst we work some stuff out but he WILL be next manager." This “Caretaker while we look but if he does well the job is his" crap. IS TROUBLE!
The last thing we need now, is weeks of do nothing from the board. Whilst a “Give it to Freddie, he's winning" will they/won't they saga drags on for months. We've had enough doubt and uncertainty over the last few years. I expect Freddie to instantly turn it around. He'll just play attacking football since that's what Arsenal players know. If the results run goes too long with him not fully appointed. Then it will stop as soon as it started, the minute he gets the job. That's what normally happens for win streak caretakers.
We need decision by xmas latest. Uncertainty over whether he's keeping the job, dragging into new year and past it. Will most likely not end well for Freddie or the club.

Freddie is apparently very highly rated by those at Arsenal - the players and those running things. Any appointment will be with the proviso that he is retained in a coaching role.
Therefore, if things do go well under him, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they give him the job long term.
