Freddies choices.

Interesting times ahead for Arsenal fans, as we wait to see what our starting line up will be against Norwich.

First thing will be formation. Freddie seemingly prefers the 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 whereas we have started with a back 3 in the last couple of PL games.

CB choices may have been lessened with potential injuries to Luiz and Mustafi. Rob Holding or Calum Chambers are the obvious men to come in - although Chambers may be needed at right back. Ljungberg will have seen more of Mavropanos than most over the last 18 months, could he get a reprieve with the new manager? Will Sokratis keep his place? Probably.

Midfield is another interesting one. Does Freddie see Xhaka as someone he trusts, or will he go for Torreira and Guendouzi? Freddie is known to rate a young midfielder very highly - Robbie Burton the under-23 captain. Could Freddie throw his trust into a kid with no experience?

Auba and Laca or leave one out? A question that has always been tricky since Auba was signed.
Ozil in or out?
Pepe up to start?

All 4 together is something fans have been asking Emery for, will we see it with Freddie?

Bukayo Saka is a Freddie favourite. He was fast tracked into the U-23s by Ljungberg, and the new boss was influential in Saka being promoted to the first team. Saka has already started 4 PL and 3 EL games this season. With no natural left attacker in the squad, could Saka be one Freddie turns to? Gabriel Martinelli is another who has impressed when given a chance, if Freddie looks outside the expensive front 4.

The likelihood is Freddie won't change personnel too drastically. Wouldn't be surprised if the XI is Leno, Bellerin/Chambers, Sokratis, Luiz/Holding, Tierney, Torriera, Guendouzi, Ozil, Pepe, Aubameyang, Lacazette. It is how he gets pretty much the same XI to be more attacking and more dominant in matches. If he is brave enough to start the 4, and they repay him, then we could start seeing a change in fortunes.

Apostrophe in the title, please.

"ies" instead of apostrophe...

...meaning more than one Freddie/Freddy. -ies is merely an indicator of the plural. You need an apostrophe to indicate possession.

This is not up to your usual high standards, D'J.
