had my Tottenham back after months of turgid stuff, at last the team was flowing again, 3-0 up and looking like going on to win four or five nil. I had the cigar on, high up in the South Stand, feet up, everything looking good.
Then like a bad dream, Bournemouth score from a set piece, and lo and behold the team once again collapsed like a pack of cards. The mentality of this set of players must be shot to pieces. How many goals do they have to be in front to see out a game comfortably. OK they won the game in the end, and another three points following on from last week`s three points.
Imagine though only winning 1-0 at West and only 1-0 today going into the last 20 minutes and ending up conceding two goals in both games, instead of six points, it would have been zero points.
Just one clean sheet this season, and whilst we all blame the defence, the cover in front of it seems to be non existant in the latter parts of the game. Cannot for the life of me understand why D`Nombele was taken off today for Moura, Son, who I thought had a poor game, should have come off for Moura, then the balance of the side was not upset. But then who am I to criticise a manager that has a 100 per cent record since he has been at the club.
Absolutely delighted with the three points, but these late collapses are taking the gloss of the victories. I think supporting Spurs absolutely has to come with a health warning.
Anyway onwards and upwards, and let`s hope we can continue the upward climb. Helped that Chelsea lost at home today, so after all the doom and gloom of the first three months of the season, the clouds are finally lifting, and the chase is now on for that top four position again, when all absolutely looked lost just a couple of weeks back.

Billy has the game about right.
First 7 minutes Gazza pulled off two great saves.
Our back four are pretty good, Vertoghen doing a good job at LB..........so the weakness is elsewhere ....
I think Dier is a weakness in midfield.
Alderwiereld's upfield passing is terrific.
And, contrary to many of the idiots on here ....
Sissoko was a force for the positive aspects of our game.
Good on him for scoring ...... may he get many more ....
and good on Mourinho for knowing a good player when he has one!
What's with the last 20 minute collapses now?
Mourinho will have to teach our defenders how to defend again ......they've forgotten under Pochettino!

Sandy , I’m finally enjoying watching Spurs again to mate. Mourinho has most definitely made a difference just like I said changing the manager would. Our defence are still poor, but Mourinho will work on that and maybe it’s a good thing we are conceding, as it means Mourinho will probably request to buy some defenders in Jan now which we need. But I can’t complain, 3 wins in 3

How can you say Son had a bad game? Did you see his work for two of our goals?

Absolutely Don, other than the late lapses I am really enjoying the football again. Scoring goals, 10 goals in a week, when they barely looked like scoring against the likes of Watford and Sheffield United. If only they had made the change a couple of months back, I am pretty certain Spurs would have had at least another half a dozen points. Anyway never mind, the future is looking decent again, no point in dwelling on the past.
