Patience is a key for any new manager

We will become toxic fans if we can't be patient. There has to be a bond between the manager, players, and most of all the fans. Imagine being Liverpool fans for a minute. They haven't got a Premier League title in three decades. We haven't gone through anything like that and I know they blab about Champions League the instant you mention their Premier League drought as a distraction.

So we can't see ourselves as an automatic top four team because we don't have the midfield or defence to dominate an away Premier League match.

Firstly, we have less technical players than when we had Fabregas, Nasri, Hleb, Diaby, and Rosicky to control a match.

Secondly, we don't have ball winners apart from Torriera. There has to be a balance team.

Thirdly, most our current players lack consistent performers and that's what any manager puts at risk on losing his job.

Fourth, Ljungberg is here on temporary we must show support until the end of his tenure.

Thoughts?

Who would be the best replacement after Unai Emery?

Rate:

1. Vieira
2. Another manager or keep Ljungberg
3. Ancelotti
4. Nuno Esperito
5. Allegri

The article is not about Liverpool yet the only thing you commented on was Liverpool and all that amounted to was a few lines of boasting.

Thanks fo much for your valuable input on this article about Arsenal

Wow.

No worries. Enjoy the nature of a cross board forum. I'm sure I'll see you on a "liverpool" article soon enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes but I'll be talking about Liverpool, not Arsenal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah because we've no reason to mention Arsenal on a Liverpool related article.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Er.. Ok then...

Why are you questioning support for Ljungberg? He's getting our full support, doesn't mean we can't question important (and particularly strange) decisions.

Our away fans today were exceptional as always
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Our social media fans are toxic. Yes, I heard the support, but I am sure there are some who are on Arsenal Fan TV who can't wait after a defeat to call Ljungberg's exit. A draw in first game isn't so bad, but those who question his selection are just seeking a reason to criticise. We're not on the training ground. Let's support him and see if we improve. The team is low on confidence, but we must improve the Emirates stadium atmosphere because our first win in a while might well be against Brighton, then there's a tough game against West Ham.

Imagine being liverpool fans at the minute...

Yep, its really tough. One defeat in about 50 odd league games, 8 points clear and champions of Europe. Tough, tough times. Good luck to you though. Hope you get top 7.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All I'm saying, yet you can't show a league trophy. You also saw the hardest part and the job isn't done yet. We never target top 7 and you have been doing for years when we're competing for the league trophy and winning it. I am sure Brendan would love to get one over the kop after what they did to him.

Liverpool still have more league titles that Arsenal and to be fair Arsenal have never won the champions league.

I mean, soon it will be 100 years of trying and you don't see us using that to console ourselves.

HOME:

Leno
Bellerin Chambers Holding Tierney/Kola
Torriera
Ozil Guendouzi
Pepe Lacazette Auba

AWAY:

Leno
Bellerin Sokratis Holding Tierney/Kola
Torriera Xhaka
Ceballos
Pepe Auba Martinelli

No Ozil! FGS when will people take off the blindfold and see he is one of the "must go" issues at Arsenal. As long as he's paid as much as he is for doing feck all on the pitch week in and out. We will have a problem.

He's done with effort and playing for the shirt. So show him the same contempt, drop him and MOVE ON. If it were my choice then he'd be sat rotting until the end of that contract. I wouldn't even let him on the training ground. Far too many Arsenal fans and pundits have underestimated and continue to underestimate, the effects of resentment and offence taken at what Ozil is paid. People can swallow it when the star produces. But when one is being as dire and just plain lazy as Ozil it's a different story.

This is heightened even more when the team refuses to pay other players who work twice as hard and produced more. Anywhere near the amount Ozil got for being a lazy good for nothing for 3 years straight. Make no mistake here. Ozil's wages ARE an issue among the team. A toxic one too judging by this seasons results. We weren't this bad when his ass was on the bench last season. We were motoring now after Emery cottoned on and had started leaving him out. How strange then that his presence in the team has seen a downslide in results From the moment he got put back in with 7 to go last season.
