Why?

It would suit him down to the T!

Plenty of spaces around him, a team that has a lot of movement up front so easy to find players and they are in the top 2 of the league more often than not.

Plus it is always sunny there (almost!) so what's not to like?

You mean he'll miss the rain, the journey to Blackpool when it grey and the M1 is gridlocked, and people greet each other with swearing?

It's facking 45-50 degrees celcius in Madrid in summer and freezing balls of in winter. Just because it's Spain doesn't mean the weather is sunny breezy 27 degrees all year round

I personally would get what we can for him next month if possible.

If not, make him play in the academy team until he clears off in the summer.

Apart from a couple of decent crosses so far, he has done little else to make me want to see him in a Sputrs shirt again
