I had thought we were obliged by league rules to field a competitive team , not sure how we will do that with basically our youth team ! Not sure it’s even worth playing the game . Having said that if Klopp sees it as a winter break then I can see why he wants the full squad there

Considering the circumstances, I'd say the kids are about as competitive a team as we can field

League cup is a hindrance. 400k to win it or 4m to win the better competition and only play 2 games with one being a gimme. Every bit of focus should be on the world club cup.
