Is that the end of Shaq then? Surprised if this is true and considering his performance in the derby, I'd be devo'd If I was him, and you'd think it will be the beginning of the end for him now. I rate Shaq but something doesn't seem right with him being left behind with the ressies.

Shaq and Brewster have both been named in the CWC squad.

I think we'll see plenty of Shaq from now on, but like Origi last season when he came from nowhere in the Derby and was a big player for the rest of the season

Aye, hopefully that's what happens. Considering he was free, I don't think we should be letting a player of his calibre leaving so soon. Here's hoping he stays fit and his form continues, as you say his performance in the derby was fantastic and he played brilliantly.

We need him too, wouldn't be surprised to see a few mad team selections in December and different formations being used.

I wonder if Klopp might try 4231 to accommodate Shaq, he's too good not to be used. Especially Lallana getting in ahead of him. I want to see Gomez at centre back more than anything. He's no right back.

Yeah and that would also allow for Origi to play as the one and chamberlain lallana keita can all play in yhr three

Still not sold on Lallana, loses the ball too often.

Makes sense. So long as the top 16-18 or so players are settled in Qatar then it should be manageable.

Would be nice to win all these games but do we want to be in a two legged league cup semi against a big team?

SO the reality is we are going to head on over and play a bang average small team midweek. In an IDEAL world we would start shaqiri, origi, ox, lallana etc in that game.

If we need to leave senior players behind to allow us to play a QF of the league cup so be it but it affects us by not ebing able to rest the senior players midweek then for the final v flamengo.

Honeslty the final is predetermined. it is how efficiently you can get there.

I couldn't give a damn. the EFL, FA and others have shafted us so as far as i am concerned the competition is dead. Take the europa spot off it and let it die off.
