All Arsenal fans and all boxing fans It’s pointless worrying when someone’s life is at stake tomorrow anyone thinks Ruiz will win?

Ok, do you think AJ looks right at any point in that fight?

Secondly if you don't think preparation can help you tactically within a fight then we fundamentally disagree. AJ went looking for a knockout against a heavy handed opponent who is durable before even seeming to check whether his legs had gone or not. At best I'd call that a bit naive but I think it showed either a lack of appreciation of his opponent or a lack of preparation on what he'd face. Maybe both.

Used to like AJ but he seems like a poosay, his dad having a go at hearn after his loss i heard, whyd you put him vs someone who can beat him i assume was the issue if he wins his titles back will he duck fights vs wilder and fury again? If he does win his titles back he needs to man up.

Ruiz was up on the cards and should have been in the first fight. I wouldn't count on AJ's ability to outbox ruiz. Parker, ruiz and others have outboxed him before.

Each to there own mate, but I think you're underestimating what AJ has achieved in a short space of time. He did that in his 19th fight. So yeah, I am inclined to believe that he will be better this time round. He is no Ali or even Tyson Fury, but he's better than Ruiz.

As my comment states, fat hands slow feet. You're giving Ruiz far too much credit.

I don't subscribe to the idea that there was anything medically wrong with AJ in the first fight but he didn't look properly prepared to me.

Whether that was complacency about the opponent, looking forward to other options, bad training camp or just wanting to put on a show in the US rather than actually beat the man in front of him. Could be anything but he didn't seem to be acting with purpose, with confidence or with authority.

If AJ is fully prepared and goes in ready to manage the distance (because Ruiz looks good up close) and pick his shots, he'd still be my bet.

The rumours from some in the game say he was knocked out by a Philadelphia fighter and he supposedly, don't know if it's true, but he supposedly had a panic attack in the dressing room before the fight.

I still expect AJ to win this in the rematch.

Interesting the weights they came in at, AJ has come down by about a stone since the first fight whilst Ruiz has gained about a stone.

Arguably suggests AJ wants to move and box more whereas Ruiz thinks he can plant and land the big shot again.

Clear parallels - used to be a shock when Arsenal were beaten by the rank outsider, now it wouldn’t be a surprise and is worthy of debate...
