Well that's certainly come as a surprise to a lot of us. Similar to Mourinho, I hope that Nigel has tried to re-invent himself and learn from previous mistakes to some extent, otherwise his contract until the end of the season won't see it's days out!
I for one wish him well, let's not forget the Great Escape and how he got our club into shape leading up to the title-winning season.

I shall throw myself among the close circle of friends here and remind those present that there only ever seemed to be one person who was vehemently anti-NP. Sadly, he has now consigned himself to past history otherwise the column could have been rather “fruity” today.
Condemnation for those “worshipping at the temple of Pearson” was the order of the day, I believe. I may have pointed out, in reply, that I did not wish to be disturbed whilst in prayers.
