Agreed. Don’t think they are all that anyway.

Ole has just outdone two of the greatest tacticians in world football in last 4 days. Still anyone saying he should be sacked?.. I would give him this season and beyond if we are in top six by the end. It's not easy to be in this position with the players we have and injuries we had.

He's improved a middle-table squad. A few deft signings and we could challenge next season. I don't think we're signing any Galacticos, but we'll see more young players join and a few more academy players shifted up to the first team. We still need a lot of patience. I'd rather this, than desperate signings of the type our last couple of managers failed with.

Exactly. If not for a few odd mistakes just because of lack of experience we would have been already in the top 4.

Well I did say he is the best manager in the PL. Its crazy people don't watch games or even highlights or look at stats and troll Solskjaer. Since Solskjaer came in we have been near title winning form on domination but because we are like 19th/20th efficient side its Ole out.

But we do not need top 4 this year. It will be an added benefit but right now rebuilding the squad is vital. He may need to play youngsters and bench players in the near future and it's obvious how woeful our bench is.

What we should take pleasure in is finding the best positions for our players (Rashford, Martial, Fred, James, McTominay), improving them and solidifying our defence.

We don't need the pressure of a top 4 chase. It won't benefit us.

We do need top 4 due to sponsorship money or win the EL league.

be nice if we could get top 4. rather have more perfomances like this. if we do we may have chance.

lest see how we do against the lesser teams in the next 4 games. get at least 3 wins from them and really should win all 4...maybe a corner has been turned. but there been alot of false promises over the years

If we address the lack of creativity in the midfield (Pogba has it but he's just one man and we need more) to this team would certainly be higher up the table. Many a game we just lack that bit of magic to turn those draws into wins. I know we need a back up striker, but the midfield is a key area that has to be looked at.

For all the love in Lampard has gotten from the press, he has had a better set of MF in this regard to us.

Lingard's form has improved and he's rightly taken Pereira's spot. Still not good enough.

And all the mention of players not being improved under Ole, McTominay, Fred, Martial and Rashford seem to counter that argument. Even James has improved over the last few months.

We still have a lot of deadwood to clear out. Jones, Matic, Rojo, Young, Bailly (if he keeps getting injured), and I think we'll have to add Pereira to that list now. Shame as I thought he would go on to be a talent for us
