He really isn't.

The major issue with Grealish is his attitude and lack of professionalism.

Fans would love him, coaches and the corporates not so much.

Maddison is a good player in a gold system, and id be happy to sign him too.

But Grealish is a player who can win you a game in an instant, he has flair, individual skill and gets bums off seats. I've always said whoever takes a punt on him will not regret it, maybe I'll be proven wrong though who knows.

Grealish would probably be a lot cheaper than Madison, specially if Villa get relegated.
Would take either player over Pogba anyday. While Pogba has a higher ceiling you'll get much more out of these two on a consistent basis.

We need a player that can unlock a deep packed defense. Would grealish be able to do this?

Grealish is a good player, but no more. And hed cost a fortune being a local lad and their captain.

I'd much prefer Maddison.

Maddison I think has more consistency than Grealish. Though I wouldn't be too disappointed with either in that no. 10 role
