Martinelli

Honestly this kid will be at a bigger club in 2 years time if his goal scoring is kept up at this rate. I’m talking Madrid or Barca. 7 starts and 8 goals already; he’s come from an unknown team from Brazil and is seriously out performing all the players at the club bar Aubameyang and Leno. Every time the guy starts he pretty much scores. Today was his full PL debut and got the all important equaliser. He doesn’t hide, is very aggressive in his tackling and attacking the ball. For someone who isn’t the tallest he’s scored headers you associate with much bigger and stronger guys.

I hope he doesn’t turn out to be like Vela, because that guy looked unreal at the same age too. This season has been awful, but this guy is one hell of a find.

Yep. Contender for player of the season, at Arsenal.

If we can get Saliba, Guendouzi and Martinelli to reach their potential we will have a spine to work with. Or a lot of money.

Guendouzi is a strange one, i don't see him kicking on. I think his "success" is down to his hard work and not his ability which i feel he lacks.

Isn't it a great thing that he work's hard to improve himself rather than have the ability and not work hard?

Wut? Guendouzi has been our best midfielder this season and should not have been dropped for Xhaka.

Exactly.

Dunno what player you been watching HB but Guen has everything but a calm, mature head. Can pass, shoot, carry the ball and be combative. When you add bust his butt for the team, he's got everything needed and is certain to kick on.

I'd actually like to see him get a run at CAM. He can do everything Ozil won't. Though not his original role, certainly until we can replace Xhaka a MF 3 of him Xhaka and Torreira will give us two things desperately needed. Firstly a ball carrier at CAM and second ball hungry pressing which will default Xhaka with far more protection than he's ever got off Ozil. Time and space to pick his passes (Which he can actually do very well indeed at times) plus defensive help from his CAM when it's needed. May just bring about the difference in MF to stabilise it. At least temporarliy. Will certainly see us far more agressive and forward emphasised in attack.

It's like we have a synaptic-link... Was literally about to write that I'd rather us play Guen in Ozil's position in the other topic with Xhaka & Torreira behind. I'd rather play Willock in Ozil's position too. Ideally for me it would Guen and Torreira with Willock just in front of them.

Interested to see Ceballos ahead of LT and Guen.

I want to see Ceballos get another chance too, does Freddie dislike him or is he 'injured'?

He is injured.
