Message to Eddie

Think Bielsa gave Eddie a very clear message this evening. Shape up or ship out.

Bamford's message is very clear aswell - you want to take my place, you have to do more than a cameo appearance off the bench and a tap in from in the 6 yard box

Only way Eddie takes Bamford's place is if Bamford gets injured

Bamford is definitely a 9 in his head and this year I think he's making a really great job of leading our attack, whether he scores or not. LIW is right - we don't play so well when he's missing - the spaces don't open up in the same way.

Fantastic to bag another three points and keep another clean sheet - let's hope Wigan can get something going against West Brom tonight!

Bamford is the man and although we made a fair bit of money he is looking line a pivotal player who will pay it back and then some if we go up.

Eddie has contributed some important goals in the limited playing time he has had and he will do so again.he is learning the game.we have not seen the last of him.

We cant afford Bowen or Mitrovic anyway. Both will be 20m +

Bamford cost us 7m and for that i think hes been a good buy

Eddie looks a great player, raw but with bags of talent. Pretty sure that if he continues to work hard he'll be a top, top player.

But I don't think he was ever brought in to be anything other than back up to PB. I hope he stays and doesn't go back to Arsenal, he's definitely got a part to play in our season.

I've not been enamoured with Eddie personally. He's quick and good in the box, but his touch is woeful at times and he lacks any semblance of physical presence. If he was our player with time to learn then I'd be confident it was worth it, but rn I don't see him being able to play the Bamford role should he get injured. Just how I see it b
