Was watching the highlights from last nights win 😏 yet just before the second goal, Bamford collides with the commited Hull goalkeeper kinda deliberately as he continued his run into the box following his shot. This didn't prevent the goal being scored by Alioski, however it was a foul by Bamford in the build up to it.
Its in the same category as the disallowed Crystal Palace goal against Liverpool in which a defender off the ball was fouled by an attacker. The foul didn't prevent the goal, but the fact there was a foul meant the goal was chaluked off.
So, would Alioski's goal been ruled out by VAR in your opinion? I think its a tough one to call.

Great result for Wigan.

Some Hull fans claiming the video is edited. Jesus wept.

Wigan were excellent and we’re unlucky not to win that
Empty stadium though, looked like a training match

Don't think the Hull keeper was simulating, to be fair. His head collided with onrushing Bamford's hip,he was hurting but there's no foul by Bamford. Hull manager squealing that Bamford ' kneed the keeper ' is grade A bs.

Matty.. best comment on here mate and totally agree
“I’d be livid with the keeper”
Defo, Alioski had an open goal.. brilliant finish mind, very tight angle

Yep not every collision is a foul, nor is it the case that the player who goes down after a collision is not himself responsible for that collision

I'm convinced Costa's goal would have been given onside with VAR. Maybe it's just the angle on the replays.
