Morning troops
Some fitbaw chat may do the mind good today.
How are we all?
Watching the Celtic game last night was strange, away in Europe with no nerves and no real care about the game. Always want to see us win but Lazio went out so can't grumble too much, get it right up them.
That said, can't help but feel a wee bit dissapointed with a few last night. I thought Ntcham was average at best and Lennon said he was unbelievable wtf man
The boy Robertson did well on the ball but physically miles off that level, wee Dembele who came on has took a stretch btw, that's the biggest i've seen him, that him now 4 feet? He's put on a bit of muscle too.
Anyway, a few reminders last night.
Craig Gordon - Awful, wits he doing for that 2nd goal man.
Boli - He's just going to be the type who needs to play regularly or he comes back in and looks awful. I'm not going to forget how well he was playing for weeks up to the Hibs game though.
Biton - Looked like he'd rather be back in Glasgow, actually couldn't be ersed marking his man at every single cross.
Bauer - Aye, he's rotten.
Sinclair - He just runs into players man, his confidence has gone to hell and i'm sorry but 7 or 8 touches to get a ball under isn't good enough, needs punted.
Griffiths - Shift in but miles aff it, sorry but he's very much looking like a spent force, he actually never, at any point last night looked a threat and that's not good enough for a Celtic striker.
Morgan - Hopeless.
All in all, brutal to watch but we done the job 2 games a go and we sail through to the last 32, bring it on.
Watched the Rangers game too, thought Jack was Rangers best player by a mile again, that kant is growing on me as a player thought he was unlucky with the red, Kamara causes both yellow's for him, he was awful again.
Kent as well, he was shocking.
Morelos very good again, had big Dan Majstrovic's brother on toast, that big guy was so bad, looked like a rugby player.
Rangers through is good for both of us, more chance of co-eff points and also more games for Rangers rather than a free run at the title.
Looking forward to the draw.

Not sure about Salzburg. Seems their better players have pretty low release clauses and could be raided in January.
Think the new rule regarding player eligibility could leave them a bit open to losing the likes of Haaland and Minamino.

They’re the best footballing side I’ve seen at Celtic park in my puff. And I include that Barca team we beat.

Talking of salaries, I read a report the other day that Gerrard is on much the same as Rodgers was-£2.4 million. That can’t be right?! I remember there was a big furore about a manager earning that amount just to win the SPFL...
