Decided to step back in time and watch a review of 91-92:

Great to sometimes look back at the "good old days". I had a season ticket as a 9/10 year old that year and the year before and the memories come flooding back whenever I revisit ER or watch stuff like this.
A few stand out thoughts:
-That midfield 4 was superb. Also Hodge with some invaluable contributions
-Those fullbacks were brilliant. Especially Dorigo - We did love some long range goals (Sterland, Macca, Dorigo)
-Chappy was as old fashioned a target man as you can get
-What could have been had Cantona not been a naughty boy
-Love seeing the old stadiums/pitches - although its amazing how far they have come - The scoreboard and those dancing men on it are so unique
-What Wilko did for us was incredible. Sometimes wish more was made/discussed more whilst he is still with us
Amazing times, that forever remain with us.

When Ron Saunders died last week it was mentioned that Howard Wilkinson is the only English manager still living to have won the First Division.

Did they take the ball into the corner for the last 5 mins like cowards or was 'ole' football still a thing back then? I was born in 90 so can't remember that far back

Not wishing to steal your thunder, Yorkie, but this might be a better indicator of where we are...and what to expect in the months to come.

Thirty years ago this season - 1989-90 - what better a way to celebrate the anniversary of our promotion from the old second division, and to begin the second century of football with LUFC, than to repeat the feat this season?
