Arsenal are finished

So Ancelotti, Benitez, Poch and Allegri are all available but you are going for Arteta? You will end up with a Tesco value Guardiola who will no doubt be out of his depth. Arteta was a wimp as a player and I cant see that changing in management.

Any body else surprised by this? Gotta be up there as one of the most clueless appointments of all time if it goes through

Our squad is an awful lot better than people think. Particularly in players like Torreira, we have players who could become top class with the right coaching.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I USED to think that. I really did. But I dont know man/woman. Better players would organize themselves a bit. Play for pride. Look like they care. They guys are lacking. Our best players at the moment are Torreira, Leno and Martinelli. It's because they are the only ones playing for pride. Putting in 100%. If all others did that, we would not be where we are on the table regardless of who was in charge.

you have to be a really special club for a manager on a sabbatical to cut it short, sadly for you guys you aren't

If a manager doesn't have a job it doesn't mean he is available. Allegri wants year off, Poch also wants time off/isn't interested in Arsenal. You don't know what is happening in the background.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If Real Madrid job becomes available tomorrow then both those 2 will change any other plans they had to make themselves available.

Arsenal don’t have the pull these days
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think we ever had the pull of Real Madrid...

After watching the game on Sunday and seeing the state of the Arsenal dressing room does anyone seriously think Arteta would want his managerial career to begin with the toughest job in football today?

They need to get Allardyce and go back to the very beginning. Playing for each other, winning tackles and playing for the badge. They aint gonna just flick a switch and start playing Thierry ball again. Arsenal need to go backwards to go forwards imo

Wenger never once shouted at players, doubt the likes of Klopp do.

Shouting doesnt win you football matches. You just have to make the players believe in your methods

Klopp screams at players for 90 mins in every game

He’s brave, you’ve gotta give him that. Arsenal’s squad is poor and unbalanced. And the good players they do have don’t look like sticking around.

Love the arrogance of some L’pool fans, it weren’t that long ago that you were in our position and under the guidance of Roy Hodgson and brought them in a rookie in Brendon Rodgers. Clubs should Remember their poor times.
