What an appointment Edwards has turned out to be, and he's forever in the background which is what you want, deals coming out of nowhere.

look your point is fine, Woodward was a non football man sticking his beak into footballing matters and had final say on money.

Edwards is a technical director who doesn't have final say. it's all a long term view and klopp has final say. Edward's does his job, Mike Gordon does his job and the scouts do theirs. all pull in the one direction.

a million miles from Rodgers v ayre v whoever.

its vitally important to realise the role of everyone but also how klopp is the apex in the end. not by any structure but by divine right and charisma

we just don't get the call wrong because he wants the player. if he wants them they get chances

Dunno if its number 1, 2 or 3 but its pretty much up there.

Work ethic sure but he's not signed too many slow players or donkeys either.

Ok fabinho isn't quick or anything like quick but he's quite under rated on the ball but the pundits (who rarely seem to remember anything form their own careers)

A lot of the players are fast, all of them are strong enough to complete and most of them are very quick too.
Sure work ethic is one common trait but so is professional attitude (not just work hard) I have not seen anyone "partying" either. They are all in for the challenge.

Lets hope hes better than Kuyt

Very excited by this signing! He's just what we needed as backup. Can see him working both as cover for mane/salah and for firmino. Think he can do a job as the false 9 type role and can see similarities between him and firmino ( faster but less technical though)

Excited with this signing. Him reckon those stubborn defences will be a little bit easier to unlock with this guy who can pick a pass and has eye for a goal.

Look there's times for change and there's times to get on with it.

Once the transfer windows are shut you have to just get on with it.

We started with 4 CBs and 6 or 7 CMS this august

We currently (for a few weeks max) have Lovren, matip, fabinho and wijanldum out.

VVd got a cold going to a warm climate form a cold one. big deal

The standard of punditry is absolutely shocking. No vvd = no plan, no clue I head.. hilarious!

We played milner at RB.
We played henderson at LCB
We played lallana at no 6.
We played origi at LW (who wasn't bothered)
we played ox at no 8
we played keita as well

apparently we played a full strength team v monteray. hilarious.

We actually rested TAA, Firmino, mane and didn't risk VVD. so just the 4 rested prior to discussining injuries too

Our team at the weeked will be

alisson
TAA Gomez VVD Robertson
Fabinho
Keita Milner
salah firmino mane

we did just enough to get by last night. just barely.

I don't understand all this CB talk we already have 4 on the books, its just unfortunate they are injured and we can cover if needed. Why buy an elite when they will be back from injury Matip and Lovren what you gonna do then? What we need is cover for the FB positions and Hoever will be a great in the future for CB.
