Anyone else feeling excited?

Arteta is schooled at Barca. He worked under Wenger. Worked with Poch as a player and got his finishing with Pep.

So we kind of know what we are getting. I hope he will be a disciplinarian like Pep is. I expect we'll see signs of progress relatively quickly.

Nervous but if he works out, he'll work out really well. I don't think he is a middling type man.

Appointed by a man who left the club 3 months later. I wouldn't put much stock on why he wasn't chosen the first time round.

I think he will do well if given the time at Arsenal. I remember seeing this interview with Poch probably about a year ago:

Poch clearly thinks he will become a great manager and he's worked with Pep too so Pep must rate him. Those are pretty good endorsements.
