I can completely understand that Defoe can’t be happy with his lack of playing time and needs to play regularly. Just so happens that Alfredo is bangin em in so can’t really be dropped.
Defoe is a class act and a great player and professional. Hopefully we’ll be able to find another gem to replace him

So, let me get this straight. Daniel Defoe is not a catholic but he did play for Leeds in 1970 in europe where he scored a hattrick against Celtic...wants to do it again on the 29th, but apparently unlike the rest of us he is not getting any younger?

If he is retiring then we have to be sounding him out about staying at the club in a coaching capacity
Love the fact we have got him, even if it is the twilight of his career. Almost a travesty that he only has a solitary league cup medal honours wise.
