Ole: Pogba Can Play Anywhere

Errr, no he can't. Ole's quotes:

"He can play anywhere. He can play the holding midfield, he's a box-to-box midfielder. He can drop deep, get it, play them long passes, he can get higher up and combine, one-twos," added the Norwegian.

"That's the beauty of having Paul because he is the best all-round midfielder in the world. He can do all roles, but if I play him low he should have played high and if I play him high I should have played low.

"There's always going to be that discussion with him. It's great to have him back."

On us not progressing as planned:

"We knew this season was going to be a season of some ups and downs," he said.

"This season will be used to find a team and a squad for next season, but hopefully we can speed this process up by getting more results.

"I expect us to be more consistent, definitely more experienced and learning from these setbacks.

"At the moment we're a little bit further behind than what I was hoping for."

TOOR wanting to talk about who can admit they’re wrong and who can’t on the same thread he listed long legs as an attribute for why Pogba is a good holding midfielder?

Merry Christmas to you all - a genuinely laugh out loud thread, this one. Superb stuff.

Pretty sure a scouting report would include the players height.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And yet Chelsea still signed Kante.

City still signed Fernandinho.

Maybe they signed them in spite of their height.

Or maybe they didn’t give a fack about their height because it’s not remotely relevant?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because their other attributes were so good that it didn't matter too much. But you'd always opt for a taller player if you had the choice of two with only the height being the difference. Because it is an advantage that helps them fulfil their role better
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This sounds like the argument of someone who plays too many computer games.

If you guys have any other classics before my house wakes up, please don’t be shy. Loving your work.

Pogba is the only real genuine quality at united and he’s managed by the worst manager in the league and next to rubbish like Fred. Him leaving United is him taking a step up and going to a side with ambition which we have none of.

Ole is an embarrassment and only talks about next year as he’s weak and can’t face up to now. He’s rubbish and will say the same rubbish next season if he’s here

So by your reckoning we have a midtable squad with the worst manager, yet are in 8th? How does that work then brains?

Nearly midway through the season and we are on the same points as Newcastle. Bruce with his massively inferior squad is level with Ole.

Don’t worry, the January transfer window opens soon and Ole will be on the look out for some long legged players. We’ll be fine.
