United's team of the decade

Was having this discussion with a few friends earlier after seeing Nev's choice on Sky Sports.

A lot more difficult to pick than the previous 2 decades for obvious reasons. Here's mine:

GK: De Gea - no explanation needed really

RB: Valencia - One of many areas where there wasnt much choice. Slightly edges it over Rafael for me.

CBs: Rio & Vidic - Their best form obviously came in the decade before. Nevertheless no other CB has really come close to their form at the beginning of this one.

LB: Evra Much like Rio and Vidic. Not his best years but still good.

CM: Carrick Absolutely carried our midfield (and subsequently our team sometimes) in Fergie's later years. Still crying out for a replacement.

CM: Pogba Yeah, controversial I know. But if you look at how diabolical our midfield options have been these past 10 years there really has been no one better (other than Carrick). Only Ander Herrrera really comes close.

RW: Nani Another one that raises a few eyebrows at first. But people sometimes forget that he was very, very good in the couple of seasons post-Ronaldo. One of the key men in the 10/11 title win. Starting getting hit by injury problems in the years proceeding, and RW has been a problem position ever since.

AM: Rooney Again, not his best years but still worthy of a place here.

LW: Rashford Not many options here either. Between him and Martial really, but i believe no one has scored more for us than Rashford in the second half of the decade so probably warrants a place on that basis.

CF: RVP Based purely on one season, but boy what a season. Best individual player we've had post-Ronaldo.
