Top 4 is there for the taking...

If we sort out the midfield.

There have been positives and negatives to Jose's reign, but the last few weeks have really highlighted you can't play football without a midfield. In Lo Celso, Ndombele and Eriksen we have three players who are very comfortable on the ball and capable of linking defence and attack.

I really think the difference between top 4 and not is his much Jose gets these players into the team. If we continue with the cloggers then it's back to the Europa League.

From this position, given how Chelsea lose pretty much every home game I would be disappointed if we don't make top 4.

Top four is definitely on the cards now. Just three points behind, with most of the difficult away fixtures done and dusted, and a manager now in place who is winning the games Spurs should have been winning under the previous manager, if only Spurs had made the change earlier. Truth be told I would be very disappointed if Spurs did not finish Top Four now. Leicester look like they are about to collapse like a pack of cards, some decent players, but really just a one man team. Chelsea can hardly win a game, other than their recent cup final against Spurs.

I expect Spurs to finish above Chelsea and to reel in Leicester. I wouldn`t be surprised if Man United made top four as well.

Not so much optimistic mate, more realistic. Spurs were only going one way under Pochettino. Now the ship has been steadied with 15 points out 21 in just seven games, under Mourinho, I expect Spurs to push on in the New Year. There will be the odd set back, but I expect Spurs to win a lot more games in 2020 than they did in 2019.

I said we were favourites for top 4 before the defeat to Chelsea and I stand by that. We should be making top 4 considering our personnel and form compared to others. The one thing that might stand against it is the spending from those other teams to try and get in the top 4.
