A good win yesterday, one that could have been a lot more comfortable had we (AGAIN) not wasted a raft of chances.
I said it yesterday but we need to be far more clinical, albeit we had a goal chopped off yesterday which should have stood. GD could be huge this year and as it stands we’re 5 points clear, +2 clear and played 1 game more.
I thought Edouard was outstanding and looked back to his best, thought he could have been off 20 minutes earlier mind you but maybe Lennon just wanted to get more minutes into his leg.
A lot has been said about accommodating Ntcham in the team at the expense of two other players being played out of position and I agree but games like yesterday highlight why he can be crucial too, he picks up some terrific spaces in that number 10 slot but I think Christie offers more movement on the whole in there, it’s a tough choice but also a nice problem to have.
Two good moves for the goals, bit fortunate with the first but McGregor deserved that, outstanding again yesterday and that was Forrest’s best game in some time. Of course it’s the OF game on Sunday so you can get yer erse that Forrest will be dawning his good invisibility cloak.
Onto Sunday then and it’s simple, do not lose. A draw is fine, a win is fantastic to put us 8 clear into the winter break but if we lose we will still be top with Rangers having a game in hand, not ideal so I hope we approach the game in the correct manner.
If we do win then that’ll be 12 wins on the bounce, anyone know the record? 15 or 16?

3 points would be great but a draw wouldn't be a disaster for either team.
We still have the better players all over the park ,and with a huge advantage at home due to Rangers deciding to pretty much shut out away fans and us reciprocating, then if we turn up then we win .
If we do have an off day and lose then obviously its not brilliant, but then Rangers have shown no sign of being capable of getting over the winning line(look what happened last season after them winning at Ibrox!! whereas we have a team full of serial winners.
