Eriksen

We all saw his contribution to the winning goal yesterday, that was very much the Eriksen of old. Are people willing to admit yet that he should be considered for a starting place? I understand there probably will be a sense of resentment towards him over how he behaved prior to the Poch sacking. But I do believe the only way we can really improve our performances is to start players such as Lo Celso ad Eriksen who can unlock defences, you can't really get much worse than the way we are playing right now

Totally agree with Ace. Hoping we can bring him on to dig us out of the sheite from the bench is embarrassing.

Oh please give us a 75% performance Christian, for old times sake, please. Just this once. We Promise you won’t have to play for us again. Please.

Would happily take that over drawing with Brighton/finishing mid table blah blah.

He’s not signing a new contract, think he’s made that pretty clear, we should be getting 100% effort regardless.

Surely we have to see ndombele and lo celso in the same side tomorrow?

I hope so but I very much doubt it. Dier almost 100% cert to start. Just feels rotating Dier, Winks & Sissoko is like shuffling chairs around the deck of the Titanic.... I think he'll start GLC & Dier. Sounds like NDombele is basically saying he's not getting enough time to get properly fit and as a subsequence is continuing to pick up lots of small injuries

I would probably start him v Norwich as needs must with the amount of players missing but long term either sell in jan if we can or use him off the bench as and when needed.

Think he will ( and probably should ) play on Saturday, but even having this debate shows just how toxic the whole Eriksen thing is.

Whilst the club have to recognise their part in this mess, the player, for me, is the primary driver of this situation.

Use him while we still have him, but the club is going to be better off once this fiasco is finally settled.

Bench Eriksen, it will be a tough game away at a team fighting relegation, so we need fully committed players on the pitch, not players with one eye on their upcoming move. Bring him off the bench if we need to.
