Thought that was a very good professional performance tonight. Didn’t give them a sniff. Must admit I was unsure at the start of the game having seen the lineup.
I don’t think anyone had a bad game tbh although Marcus was fairly quiet. Standout players for me were Williams who was MOTM, James was excellent as were Fred, Martial and Maguire.
Special mention to James who has had his critics recently and rightly so but my god does he work his backside off and should have had more than 1 assist.
Not sure what was wrong with Martials goal when Shef Utd 1st stood against us as did Traore challenge last night.
Burnley were a disgrace, awful team to play against, to watch and the way they play. Some of them challenges were awful and Taylor should have seen red for two bookable offences and Mee possibly on James
All in all great win and roll on Arsenal

I didn't think anyone had a poor game. Even the stand-in players who the fans moan about: Matic was tidy and professional, Young used every ounce of nouse and battle. Williams and Fred were excellent. James sometimes lacks finesse but his courage and application together with that pace are huge assets.

I like the confidence with which James carries the ball into dangerous areas. Often I think he’s overrun it but he’s just so quick that he gets there and releases it or draws a foul.

A good performance and a well deserved win. These are the sort of fixtures we have constantly struggled against. Fred and Williams the players for me against Burnley.
One of the worst refereeing performances i have seen in a long while. Some dodgy tackles from Burnley and the booking for Williams was a joke.
Dan James is now 4th in the PL in goal assists with 6 assists on the season.
A win at Arsenal would be huge

Played well today. We also played well against Newcastle after going a goal down. A couple of really strong performances is conditions that are the hardest to play under. Nothing but credit for the guys over these two games

Fred, Matic, Young, Maguire and James were the most competent and professional out there.
The rest were just their usual, ordinary, selves - and that's being (seasonally) generous.

Burnley will always be strong and physical. I was glad it was away to them today. Because we've tended to play them at home over recent christmas periods and they've somehow sneaked a draw every time

I missed the entire match (funeral services) but how was Ole's management of the match? Sounds like Brandon Williams was very good and that's a huge plus, Fred playing well is vital too.

I was on a 12 pubs pub crawl. But from what I saw of it, we were always in control, and Ole deserves credit for that

Burnley put it up us. For want of a better expression. In terms of who we could have and where it is, I'd far rather have Burnley at their place then ours. But we were very good from what I saw. Had to defend a lot in the second half but looked comfortale.

A Blackburn supporting work colleague always describes Burnley as 'The Dingles' ... after watching some of their performances over the past few seasons I completely understand the "Agricultural" referencing !

Burnley were definitely physical last night but I actually don’t mind that so much - only a couple of challenges could have been considered dangerous and it was mainly body-checks and the like.
What annoys me is when their fans make out they’ve been treated harshly all game
