Titanic ‘moment of the decade’

It’s been a busy decade Titanic-wise, probably the biggest decade since the 1980s when the famous ship was rediscovered by Robert Ballard’s submarine. The 2010s have provided us with big Titanic moments, fascinating discoveries, and fresh new information.

Before we embark on a new decade and RMS Titanic era, I invite you all aboard the Titanic ‘moment of the decade’ awards. Using the classic voting system please choose from the following options, your moment of the decade.

1 - 5 Stars: Titanic 100 year anniversary.
2 - 4 Stars: Titanic 1997 rereleased in 3D in cinemas.
3 - 3 Stars: The fire in the coal bunker New Year’s Day theory.
4 - 2 Stars: Wallace Hartley’s violin confirmed as genuine and sold at auction.
5 - 1 Stars: Other... please explain.

The White Star Line HQ was in Liverpool, and the ship had LIVERPOOL written in large letters on the back, that’s a fact.

Titanic Belfast visitor attraction opening in 2012, a monument to Belfast's maritime heritage on the site of the former Harland & Wolff shipyard in the city's Titanic Quarter where the RMS Titanic was built. A top moment.
