Ever since Nuno arrived at the club he has said that his primary aim was to improve the players and it would appear that he is doing just that.
There are players in the squad who have improved dramatically since Nuno and his coaches arrived. Connor Coady and Matt Doherty have been taken out of their comfort zones and have thrived in their new positions. But of course the most dramatic success that Nuno has had is with Adama Traore who is unrecognisable from the player he was a year ago and is now the scourge of defenders throughout the Premier League.
But it doesn't end there, the oldest outfield player in the squad, Joao Moutinho has said that he is still learning and still trying to improve day by day and at the other end of the scale we have seen the development of young players like Ruben Vinagre, Morgan Gibbs-White, Max Kilman and Pedro Neto.
Despite the pressures of playing in the Europa League and having to cope without our best defender, Willy Boly, we find ourselves in 7th place in the league with 30 points.
At this point last season we were 7th in the league with 29 points.
Last season we had won 8, drawn 5, lost 7, scored 23, conceded 23
This season we have won 7, drawn 9, lost 4, scored 29, conceded 25
To develop a squad is a long term project but Nuno seems to have a clear vision of where he is taking these players and what he trying to achieve and with the backing of Fosun it would seem that he is making slow but steady progress in the right direction.
Better and Better

Yeah Wolves going well and I like him as a manager.
Luverpool have spent £15m more than Wolves since they came up. I'm not talking net either.
Yoyd think morespurs would get bored of being wrong really.

I like Wolves and Nuno a lot though, great team and some underrated players in there with a unique system that sees them suited to playing the better teams if anything.

Fact is that last season, pre var, all other things being equal, we would have won 1-0

That's not a fact though is it.

If no decisions had been reversed through var reviews this season then some teams would be better off and some worse.
Brighton have gained the most points with 6, followed by Leicester 5, Liverpool 4 and Southampton 4.
Wolves have lost the most points with 5, followed by Norwich with 4 then Man City, Everton and Arsenal 3 each.
If the league table was adjusted for these changes Liverpool would be 7 points clear of Man City at the top and Wolves would be 5th

That is not a fact because if Liverpool's goal didn't stand and Wolves' did, it would have been 1-0 at half time presumably.
That then becomes a completely different game in the 2nd half because Wolves wouldn't have been pushing like they were yesterday, it would have been Liverpool. If anything, pre/post VAR I still think Liverpool would have gone on to win the game.

That's also not a fact, just your opinion.

Based on the stats you quote Gem we've not improved a great deal. One point better off and same position. However that doesn't tell the whole tale, the Europa league progress, the tightness of the league compared with last season and the progress players like Traore, Neto, Saiss and Vinagre have made is remarkable. Moutinho had improved too, something I thought wasn't possible. We're on the right track, no doubt.
