I will always support the club but i find myself no longer 'in love' with Spurs. 5 years ago there was an exciting project. We wanted to build a state-of-the-art stadium, training ground and brought in a manager to work within tight constraint.
It was clear we wouldn't be spending much until the stadium was complete and slowly progressing was the goal so we could reach CL by the time gates opened.
We far exceeded expectations on the pitch. Regular CL football and our first ever final no less. The squad was playing brilliant football and there was hope that the unexpected additional revenue would be reinvested.
None was invested. The team allowed to go stale. Unwanted players kept. Contracts mismanaged and fired the man who brought excitement back at White Hart Lane.
We now have a stadium but struggling for 4th like we were 10 years ago. Football has been pretty abysmal. Daniel Levy continues to keep an eye on net spend and with Mourinho's appointment there really is no project in sight.
All hopes on a one-off domestic trophy to justify it all. The future feels very bleak without a light at the end of the tunnel.
Even worse, we support a club in the richest league in the world. With the 2nd highest season tickets in the world and still have some defending the tight spending from Levy.
We've completely undone all the good work we've done over the last 5 years. I no longer look forward to Spurs games like i used to. And i no longer believe in the club's project if there even is one.
Fans who blamed Pochettino for certain things are now defending Mourinho for the same. Total madness.
Love but not in love

Levy is killing my love for the club. Tottenham's rep right now is more for having a great stadium rather than a good football team

I can`t argue with most of the above, these days I am just all a bit meh about Spurs, I will always support them but at the moment I can`t get excited when we play and don`t get elated or pist off when we win or lose.
After years of being also rans we finally found a manager who made us genuine challengers, by over achieving on a fraction of the budget of our rivals. The board had a chance to seize the moment and invest at the right time to take us the final step, but they chose to stand still once again.
We`ll never win anything under Enic`s current method of ownership, they are just here for profits and don`t give a shiete about trophies. Will they ever change their ways? well you won`t catch me putting money on it.
What I want is for ENIC to sell us to some multi billionaire who has an ambition to make us serial trophy winners, I dream of the day this happens, I`m sick of being nearly men and also rans.

^ This. I have wanted a rich arab billionaire to take us over years ago. Just wish it was us instead of City with those oil barons what i would do to have their level of success at Spurs.

lol and they say players are fickle. We have no right to be top 4 every season. It's the Premier league. Just because we have a shiny stadium doesnt give us any special right.

What fickleness and special right are you on about? :/

How many windows we said that 😂😂

The ones we bought nobody were the best. "Levy holding out for the bargains/ big deals late in the window. Classic Daniel".
Teams have won titles and invested. Only he would think its okay to not win a title, spend zero and expect progress regardless. Because we now play under better lights.
