Harry Maguire Very Poor So Far

If you didn't already know how average he was, you should know now.
Can't believe United actually spent £80m on him. With that money, you could've bought Koulibaly. Do any of you still think he's a good signing?

Yeah thats what I mean. If his strength isnt displaying itself then that's the concern, you can mitigate the other stuff.

Overall I think we both said we thought Utd would do better against the bigger teams and so it's born out. A signing or two in January eould do Utd no harm especially with two extra LC cups before the Europa restarts. Big five months for Utd lay ahead.

Yes, the club really need to help Ole out. With both Pogba and McT out we really could do with 2 CMs in the window, but getting the right player/s in January of often difficult. At this stage we probably should just bite the bullet and get in Bruno Fernandes.

I think you'd be better off going for Isco really. Ive not seen loads of Fernandes but Im not sure hes particularly careful with the ball. I think Ole would have a better chance of integrating Isco and Pogba into the same side if needed too. Then you habe the fact we know Isco can handle playing for a big club.

I think Isco and Milinkovic Savic would be great signings for Utd and attainable. If they could then break the bank for Ndidi then that would be every inch a CL quality midfield.

Good comment. I watch a lot of Serie A and SMS is a very good talent. As is Isco for Real and Ndidi should be on every big clubs radar. Those three (or even two of those) would be such good signings

Sadly it looks as though we’re bringing in Sean Longstaff 🤔

Have we put out any feelers, i.e. Made contact via SMS?

Harry is a pretty good CB being let down by a weak partner. Go and get another quality CB or even bring Smalling back and Harey will look loads better

£80M

He couldn't tie VVD shoelaces.

Good comment.

To be fair, us United fans see him as better than VVD but it’s all about opinions I suppose.

Manutdsince52 is notable by his absence on this thread

Wouldn’t have any of it when I told him Maguire was a total waste of money. Couldn’t understand why I was happy with getting £80m for a defender who isn’t even as good as Jonny Evans

80m down the drain, in hindsight it smacked of desperation, this guy has not improved our defence one iota, would have preferred if we retained Smalling to be honest.

No wonder Leicester fans were mocking us at the time, they are miles better off with Soyuncu!
