Gomez is an amazing player when he’s fully fit.
If him and VVD can stay fit, the chasing teams should just give up.

Agreed, we had a bit of a problem for about a dozen games at the start of the season playing that high line but this combination with that pace and power has solved it. Means we can push higher and suffocate teams.

I believe that Klopp has been very clever.
He implemented the higher line after the introduction of VAR in the league, knowing that the tech will help with the fine margins.
Gomez coming back in helps with the pace he has.
