Can’t be bothered

Fed up with this team, fed up with the owners and I just want this season to end.

I can’t even be mad at Eriksen wanting to leave and same for if Kane etc wanted to leave, they’re never going to achieve anything at Tottenham whilst Levy runs the club.

Makes me laugh when people say we have a good enough squad to have had a string of trophies by now. It's not just about players. Has it ever occurred to anyone that it was Poch who rinsed top class performances from these players, getting them to play at 150% when most managers can't draw that from them. You wouldn't say Sheffield United have the 8th best squad in the league but good managers make you play beyond your abilities sometimes. What we have now is a squad playing to their default. Mourinho is getting nothing from them. Same at United. The guy just angers me now. The whole club does.

I'm done with Levy. He had a choice a couple of years ago - back Poch with finances to essentially do what Liverpool did when we were level pegging or watch the squad go stale and hope Poch continues the miracles. He chose the latter and without the squad freshness the players stopped believing in the project and let Poch down. Levy had another choice then. Back him heavily or get rid and do the quick fix of a new manager, a far cheaper option. He's making his Villas Boas mistake all over again. I'm done with that c*$t!!!!!

that may well be true but it doesn't excuse international players from

1. not being able to make basic passes
2. not being able to trap the ball
3. not showing enough heart to compete with the opposition

fack the manager, the players should be able to self manage themselves to better performances than we have seen this season through pure professional pride.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Confidence can affect the first two on your list and over-compensating for that can lead to bad decision making which, in part, covers your third point. If you're low on confidence your energy also dips. You've essentially just pointed out three things that are part of a manager's job.

Look, I'm not completely backing Poch here. I honestly believe that whilst the players lost heart and drive in the project, so did Poch himself. He was never backed so it's normal for heads to drop, both his and the players. The buck stops with Levy. If the best car you've ever owned never gets an MOT it's gonna eventually break down. Simple as that!

Give Sessegnon a chance ffs

He’s barely played and has to deal with making a step up into the premier league

Scored a lovely goal in Munich

Yea I don’t get this he’s been incredibly disappointing thing.

Barely played and when he has he’s been okay. Got a goal and assist in the champions league on top off that.

He’s definitely playing within himself and I don’t think he should be a contender for left back as he’s just not aware enough defensively yet.

Not sure Spurs are getting the best out of Sessignon, surely his strengths are his pace further up the pitch. He barely crossed the halfway line against Southampton, and showed none of his pace. He definitely has a future, but not as a full back, it restricts him to much.

the problem is though, that when out of form and low on confidence the way to get it back is to work your bollox off, and eventually something will go well for you.....

every single player lost their individual battle in our last game, v a side which is midtable at absolute best...

that is not good enough,.

Completely agree but I'm not the one that wanted Jose in the first place. It's his mess to sort and his appointment fans like Sandy have to justify.

Yes, we've been poor domestically all year. Yes, the players form has dipped drastically. Yes, Poch's head dropped along with the squads. The buck, though, still stops with Levy for not giving Poch and the players something to believe in. Any mess we're currently in that Jose has, in part, inherited, is entirely down to the man at the top.

I play league cricket in the summer and when we hear about a new player joining us, it gives all the existing players a lift, particularly if that player is a proven top performer. All of a sudden there is new hope and confidence around the club, and players look forward to matches even more than before. Knowing you have that gun player in your team improves team moral and can improve everybody else`s attitude and performance.

It could be similar with PL football.

Take Dembele for eg. his team mates called him the GOAT and the players around him raised their game. We need several new players but a marquee signing gives everybody a lift and renewed vigour.

if sandy thinks its a good idea i may have been wrong.

Plenty of manager have had lots of money thrown at them, Man United and Arsenal for two, have they really improved? Just throwing money at it isn`t really the answer. Liverpool spent really big, but they have have been really lucky, they very rarely get injuries to key players. Kane misses at least two months of every season now. Football is about more than just chucking money about.

Spurs best team of four or five years ago, cost peanuts. It was just that they gelled so well as a team. Same with Leicester now, they have sold so many of their good players, but have managed to mould in all probability a better team than what won the title.
