Burnley V Peterborough Utd (FA Cup)

After three consecutive defeats each, Burnley tackle the Posh.

We've played a lot of Premiership sides in the FA Cup, but haven't won since 1965.

In recent years, we've played Chelsea (twice, at Stamford Bridge) and Spurs (at White Hart Lane) and lost. Burnley have been lower-placed in the Prem, so we may stand a chance. A Posh win or draw would be marvellous: and, vital. A draw or win would be a confidence booster. A defeat would risk triggering the sort of dips in form in League One that resulted from our past defeats to Chelsea and Spurs.

George Boyd will be returning to a club he enjoyed Prem football with, and Ivan Toney and Marcus Maddison will be hoping to impress.

We probably won't win or draw, but I am hoping that we will lose in style (... or, better still, draw or win).

I've bet on the Posh so you better win!!!

Non League Lincoln turned them over at Turf Moor in 2017, but then again Burnley beat League 1 Barnsley 1-0 last season (90th min pen) who went on to get promoted.

League 1 Sunderland knocked them out of the League Cup this season at Turf Moor as well.

After 3 consecutive defeats the Prem side will want some confidence, especially with 4 tough fixtures in the Prem to come.

Come on the Posh

Nice to see you back on here TP hope all goes well for Posh tomorrow, they really need a result to get season back on track following recent defeats.
Could see this being a draw.
As for my team, well we have had worse seasons..

Sorry, Sir Ken, Posh started poorly and weren't able to recover quickly enough. Looking forward to watching Leeds beat Arsenal tomorrow evening.

TF, that's our fourth defeat in a row - just hoping that we can start winning again in the league (and not repeat what we did last year). Leicester are looking good for second place, and are playing very attractive football to boot - Vardy scoring goals for fun (and winning me a lot of points as a captain of my Fantasy Premier League team!).
