Given our desperate need for another striker, what about Cavani?
He is out of contract in June so should be the right price, 32 years old (33 in Feb).
He has not played much for PSG this season but I`m not sure whether that is due to injury or simply not being picked.
I think he could come in and do a job for a couple of years similar to what Llorente did for us. We could try and get him in this window and give him a 2.5 year deal. Maybe Jose can chat him up, many players would still like to play for Mourinho.
Downsides are maybe lack of PL experience, wages and Levy.
Would you want him, could we get him, would he want us?
It`s getting to the stage where I`d even take Crouchie back out of retirement

Mitrovic is a striker who relies 100% on good service into the box so with the standard of our crossing he would do well to keep away. Lamela is the only player in our squad who can cross consistently well and he's always injured.
