Parking at OT

Has anyone used the car parking at OT? If so, how long does it take to get to get through the streets to the car parks?

I am thinking of taking my lad tonight (would be his first game). He is only little and I am thinking of getting a parking ticket at the stadium to keep it simple for him, but never used the car parks before. Just trying to work out how much extra time I need to allow to make sure we get there for KO. I will be travelling from north Leeds, but probably can't set off until about 6pm. Journey when quiet is about 1h 20 minutes. Not sure if I would make it in time?

Any advice or tips appreciated.

Quickest journey would be to cycle to Leeds train station, hop on the train with your bikes, stay on the train for 1 hour to Manchester Oxford Road station, then hop off with your bikes and it's a 15-20 minute cycle to Old Trafford.

So you are 1h 20mins from Leeds station to the turnstiles without having to worry about the crazy traffic, parking etc. The only issue is maybe Manc Python or Vidicschin trying to kill you if you cycle. You could maybe try and route via mosques as they would try and avoid those routes obviously.

Let me know if you require any further assistance.

Take public transport the whole way

You can't trust Northern Rail. The people of England don't know what they are missing with Scotrail.

Do you have trains that weren’t supposed to be busses or something?

Park on the residential streets for free down past Gorse Hill. Its a 20 mins walk to and from the ground but you are still walking faster than the gridlocked traffic is moving down Chester Road especially at the end of game.

If you do use the car parks just park near the entrance, it’s a longer walk (by like 2-3 minutes) but you’ll get out a lot easier. The roads will be busy though.

I tend to park somewhere on my route home about 10 minutes away so it’s pretty easy to get out.

Thanks for your suggestions. Looks like I'll be watching on the box.

My english isnt that good. But does anyone else feel disgusted for what people do nowadays? Every article about Titanic is being clickbated by the switch-theory and how it wasnt a bloody iceberg that sank Titanic, same on youtube.

I stand with the conspiracy theorists. It wasn’t an iceberg that sank the titanic. It was a frisée
