So next game up is Liverpool

should be a decent game, and Spurs maybe get the rub of the green that Liverpool have had past two or three seasons, in this fixture, since Spurs hammered them a Wembley 4-1 in 2017, lots of odd goal victories laced with oddles of luck. Who can forget Harry missed his only penalty in years at Anfield in 2018, to gift Liverpool a draw, the late goalkeeper error in the final moments of the game a year later at Anfield to again gift Liverpool a win. The nailed on penalty at Wembley last year which would have secured Spurs a draw, the first minute of the CL last season, when Mane just hammered the ball deliberately at Sissoko to gain a penalty. Surely that sort of luck doesn`t last forever.

Despite Spurs going into the game with lots of key players missing, Lloris, Kane, Sissoko, Ndombele etc I am still expecting a positive outcome, something like 3-1 to Spurs.

A strong attacking line up from the off is what is needed. My team would be

Gazziniga
Aurier
Toby
Sanchez
Verts
Dier
Sessignon
Eriksen
Lo Celso/Dele
Moura
Son

A team full of pace, should give their defenders nightmares. TAA is OK going forward, but is not that great a defender. All three of Moura, Son and Sessignon should be absolutely interchanging and targeting him big time. No time for faint hearts, go for it from the off. Let`s make this VVD worse game of the season.

Go to it fellas. I am very, very confident. Jose knows how to win games like this. No silly mistakes, sendings offs, and Spurs should be the first team to beat Liverpool in the Prem this season. Crowd need to play their part, as does the ref, no falling for the diving and cheating of Mane and Salah. Book them if they try it on. In fact I can see Liverpool being reduced to 10 men on Saturday, ref will be strong and keep an eye on their dirty tricks.

COYS.

Sandy isn’t genuinely confident. He likes to play the different role to be controversial. No way in a million years is sandy really confident we will win, he knows our defence will get bartered.

Imagine if we are gifted a penalty, have a player let off a red card, are given free kicks for dives, are allowed to handle the ball and get away with conceding a cast iron penalty. Imagine if that happened and we ran out easy winners.

Seriously is this a wum article? In what world are you living in that you would be confident ahead of this game we are terrible as his our washed up hoof ball merchant manager.
"Jose knows how to win games like this"yep as I suspected a wum attempt lol

Not a wum article at all mate. Why would it be. Just a few months ago, Spurs and Liverpool met in the CL final. Didn`t see any Spurs supporters saying before that game Spurs were going to get hammered. It was the exact opposite.

So why would a home game against Liverpool, have every supporter running for cover. I just don`t get it. Football isn`t an exact science, it is 11 v 11, and on any given day, any given result in theory could happen. That is the way football has worked for a century and a half.

If we could all say with absolute certainty the way football matches are going to pan out, not only would football be a waste of time, we would all be millionares.
