Our Under 18s are pretty dire at the minute, are they not?

Though he does meet all the criteria required to be our manager, so you never know

They've played pretty well in quite a few games this season but the defending both individually and collectively has been really poor a lot of the time.

Though I'm not sure what that has to do with Nicky Butt.

He’s in the right job.

He seems to be a good administrator and director, and a decent coach.

What he really isn’t is a football manager or tactician.

I can’t see him managing any senior professional club, at least not successfully, because when he takes the reins in-game for the Academy sides, he usually looks lost.

True, people say Ole is out of his depth and not good enough, implying we should be doing better? Better than 5th, semi's of a domestic cup, knock-out stages of the Europa?

Only 5th because two of our main top 4 rivals have been so poor they had to sack their managers. 31 points from 21 games is terrible

Semi finals of the league cup? Well, we scraped past Rochdale played league 2 Colchester. We also played the worst half of football in living memory against City where a 6-0 score would not have been unfair

And the Europa league? Bunch of nobody sides and we lost to Astana 😂


I don’t think all is bad and negative like some on here. A change of manager to one who has some relevant experience of building a decent side should see an improvement. But let’s not pretend this season has been anything other than shocking

For what it’s worth I don’t believe ole is upto the job, I feel he looks like he knows it too. It’s actually rather sad for him!

He’s got his tactics right on very few occasions, oddly against the big teams.. which actually to me shows he has something about him.. and he had a fantastic start but I don’t think it’s enough to be the United manager... maybe the United job was just too soon for him?

ole also doesn’t have any charisma and isn’t a leader. His team talk simply must consist of telling his players to run around a lot and enjoy themselves. There are no tactics or vision or real identity. It’s embarrassing we have such a manager

Name one great manager around atm who is ugly?

Guardiola, Klopp, Mourinho, Zidane all good looking guys.

This is where united have gone wrong with Ole, looks too much like Gollum to garner the players respect.
