Is he his own worst enemy? Stories emerged that he injured himself the other day because he played through the pain barrier and it caught up with him. He’s now apparently ready to come back as early as tomorrow but should he be rested for his own good?
I hope our medical people actually tell him to calm down if he’s being overly macho with his injury status.

Maguire does have an impressive appearance record to be fair so he should know his own body. A bit like Steve Bruce back in the day.
As much as I think we overpaid we did miss him midweek too.

He looks like he’s been playing with an injury since he’s been in the premier league.

I'm sure Maguire has considered the risks.

Probably not if he’s trying to play through a mid season nothing game against bottom of the league Norwich.
Not like it’s the champions league final, you’ll win the game anyway.

Runs like he has boots made out of British steel as well.

It must be hard to run with so much weight on your shoulders.

He should be able to calculate the risk of rain on Tuesday at 3pm for the next 5 years with a brain that size.

Pukki is out, so as long as we are prepared to look after Cantwell properly, we *should* really be OK giving Maguire the weekend off.
That said, Norwich are probably even worse at defending set pieces than us, and if he does play, I might pop a tenner on Maguire to score the first goal.
