Declan Rice claimed that 'every Premier League player' is desperate for VAR to be scrapped after West Ham were controversially denied a last-gasp leveller at Sheffield United.

I'm done justifying why I don't like it. If you can't see why it's proven to be have a negative effect on the game without a tangible benefit we'll not be able to converse. It seems there are some things the general population should not be trusted to have a say in as they can't understand the consequences. It turns out Brexit and VAR are two of them.

Negative effect?
Not at all, Relegation Ham fans going bonkers, players giving it big ones. Then a minute later the Shoreham Street Kop goes mental. United fans buzzing. You had to the there to understand.

Sounds like you enjoyed yourself.

My Mrs went mental. She can barely talk this morning(good thing)
But have seen this type of decision go against United about 3 times at the Lane this season.

After last night I think he would struggle for a game for Scotland

I don't think it's right that Rice was punished for a completely accidental handball that he could do nothing about. However they are the new rules and VAR did the job it was supposed to do. Hopefully they look at changing it.

Great to see the Rice Rule used again correctly tonight.
Blatant handball and goal rightly disallowed as it was also last Friday night. Wonder if Rice got tearful tonight looking at this.
