Anyone think Southgate will bite the bullet and fast forward him into the Euro’s squad this summer? Rashford came on the scene 4 months before the previous Euro’s and Hodgson called him up.
Kane’s been a bit injury prone and not as good as seasons before, Rashford has had a great season so far and Vardy’s retired from the squad. Greenwood if he keeps up his form is worth considering for the England squad IMO.

Yeah we need Kane back fit and in form. He’s the most important player in the England team. Ffs every bloody time there’s a tournament this happens to England. Beckham, Owen, Rooney and now Kane have got injured just before the tournament when we need them.

His goal was Sturridgesque IMO.

Well considering some think Sturbridge has all the ability of Suarez, I’d say Greenwood is worth a punt for the Euros.
TOOR
Fact he doesn’t start for an average Man U is a failing of Ole IMO. He’s mentioned his attitude before. So what this may mean MG has kicked off with OGS saying something akin to “we’re sht, can’t score and you still don’t play me”
I hope MG has said something like that, exudes confidence.
And we have been sht

I don't think it's a failing at all. Many can speak about Solskjaer's issues with his management but I don't believe managing young players is one of them. He's slowly introduced him to the team, he's first off the bench when an attacker comes off and he starts some games. This has been working as he has scored goals. However I don't expect he will be playing for England until he's starting more games and playing upfront rather than on the right.
England's tactics are set up to get the best out of Kane, he needs service, rather than him providing the service to the wide players like Firmino does for Liverpool. Understandable considering Kane is England's best player. However players like Greenwood from a wide position are not going to provide that service which is why he plays Sterling and Sancho earlier side of him as they are more wingers than forwards.

England are stacked up top so he won’t make this summer but I guarantee he will make the next World Cup. He can be as good as any of them in my view. He is absolute gold dust. As good as anything I’ve ever seen come out our academy

Better than Giggs and Scholes to name 2?
Have a word ffs

Eh? That’s actually how Kane and England play. Rashford and Sterling benefit massively from Kane dropping off and playing them in once they run beyond him. You’ve obviously not been watching England since the world cup. The fact Kane still scores loads is because he’s a quality cf.
I don’t think Greenwood should be in the world cup squad (though if CHO gets called up we should be asking questions), but he’d be capable of playing with Kane when he comes in off the right like he does for United when Martial’s dropped off, or is occupying the cb’s.

Yeah it has been kane's playmaking that has stood out for england during qualifying, had some really nice assists.
He's providing the service for the wide players first and foremost, rather than the wide players focusing on providing service for kane

Yeah exactly. But we’ve also shown and ability to switch it around so that the full backs and wide players are providing for Kane. It’s what makes our attack so promising. It’s why, despite me loving the man, Vardy will upset what we’ve been developing in attack over the last couple of years.

I am not saying that is my opinion, about the Sturridge - Suarez comparison.
I didn’t watch enough of the two of them at close quarters to make a decision, I’m using someone much more informed than I.
