The most inconsistent season ever?

Is this the most inconsistent season ever? with the way VAR is implemented, and the way similar situations and tackles producing different results, sometimes a RED card is given for example Aubameyang vs Palace, who was going for the ball but was late with a high stud first tackle and this same type of tackle got Robertson, not even a yellow card?

What about the handball during attacking phase incident?

It infuriated Declan Rice as the ball hit his hand and he couldn't have done anything about it, yet VAR ruled out the goal produced from it and chalked off two valuable points for West Ham, and yet TAA handled the ball clear to everyone and Liverpool then scored from it.

I am not saying it is all down to Liverpool getting results going for them, but these two incidents just happens to involve them.

The introduction of VAR was to remove these inconsistencies and yet it has managed to have the opposite effect.

Also, what is the point of introducing the substitution rule where player must exit from the closest area of the pitch, when some clearly don't . Mo Salah walked the full length of the pitch and was allowed to do so by the ref? He could have easily left the pitch much quickly but chose to waste some time. Yet only additional 3 mins of extra time?
Refs and VAR must show consistencies. If not, this game is turning into a farce. Ridiculous.

Not blaming teams, but blaming the technology and it seems some refs hide behind this technology when it comes to crunch decisions.

Since this is the case, just do away without the ref completely and make the game a mockery.

Why not just use 4 judges on the touchline and give them X-factor type buzzers next?

I think football as we know it is slowly dying...Death by media

From the replay posted here, it didn't look like a lunge or a dangerous tackle

Oh for god sake it was what’s called, in old money, a 50/50 tackle. Never a red.

It was merely an unfortunate collision. Tanganga's foot wasn't even planted into the ground yet when Robertson swung his leg to get the ball.

Honestly, it is one of those things the more you try to justify it being not red, it looks like red!

Like when you get hit by a double-decker, and then say it was merely a collision

Red card anytime you go into a high tackle with stud showing

Nah. The ball was there to be won and Robertson won it.

He didn’t go into the tackle with studs showing.

There was no tackle.

He kicked the ball.

The Spurs defender was late on Robertson and somehow he gets away with it because he happened to arrive under Robertson's studs when the ball was gone. If he hits any other part of Robertson's body, he is booked. Due to it being studs, people consider a red card for Robertson, meaning the attention is off the player who came in late.

You people are nuts.
