Yes, because picking someone who's mind is elsewhere is not conducive to great performance from the player.

But I think Jose's hands were forced a bit. He's on;y been at the club for a relatively short period. He knows now Lo Celso is much better than Eriksen - right now. I don't think Eriksen will get picked again and that's why he was waving to fans yesterday.

When he can be bothered a great player like he is lazy.

It's not like we have a ready made replacement signed in the summer who improves us every game when he comes on....

Lo Celso and Lamela over Eriksen. Two players who want the ball. Dont even talk about Dele

I don't even think Lamela is that great, it's just that we've become so poor that he should now be an integral part in the team.

We always play well when Lamela is in the team, he’s one of a few players that will try and make something happen going forward, he’s very good with the ball.

He works hard and is capable of creating but still has flaws in his game. Not very good in front of goal, usually poor at tackling and giving away fouls, rather limited skill set.

Lamela sets the tone for a performance with his work rate and enthusiasm, that can rub off on the other players.

Eriksen has been anything but that this season, he needs to move on in this window, it will be best for all parties.

As soon as Eriksen went off yesterday it was like a bad fart smell had left the room.
