City masterclass in how to dominate

Just watching and admiring Man City punishing Villa while dominating the first half. Just thinking about yesterday during the first half hour we really should have buried palace but somehow have allowed them a route back into the game. The same against Bournemouth and Chelsea plus a sloppy first half v Leeds. Their has been no doubt that the effort level has drastically improved which is really good to see but the lack in quality of our finishing has a lot to be desired.

We are heavily reliant on Aubameyang to find the goals, Lacazette is working hard but he’s lost his confidence infront of goal, Pepe is still finding his feet. Aubameyang now misses 3 games and I am concerned where the goals will come from as no one seems to be consistently stepping up. Performances are improving, results aren’t. A little bit worrying.

It’s Mahrez that has caused the damage. Point is they don’t let teams off whoever they put out, so much quality
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Apart from the five teams who beat them, and the two they drew against after leading those games.

Yeh it’s as if they haven’t been the best team in the country for the past 3-5 yrs. 90% of games they dominate.

We don't have the personal to dominate games and put teams to the sword.

Xhaka, Ozil and Guendouzi in Mf. They have KDB and the 2 Silva's who bring you guaranteed goals

Mahrez, Sterling and Sane for wide players

Then you have the best striker in the league in aguero.

The quality and goal threat in the City team is unsane

I didn’t say they were invincible but the Majority of games they put teams away with ease. They didn’t give villa a sniff today and we should have put Palace away. I said it was admirable watching them.

We had enough quality on paper especially in our front 3 to put palace away but fir some reason we didn’t. We dominated that first half.

Our front 3 individually are good players but have zero chemistry between them which is one of the reasons Laca and Auba hasn't really worked when played together.

You watch pool front 3. Everything looks so natural. Those 3 create and score with ease

Perfect situation if you ask me. Klopp’s Liverpool finished 8th in his first season there and got to the Europa League final. I would happily settle for that. If we can’t win the Europa then I’d rather just have a season out of Europe all together next year. Look what the likes of Liverpool, Leicester and Chelsea have done in the past without the distraction of European football. I personally think it would give Arteta the best chance of bringing us forward next season.
