I haven't seen the game but of they've only allowed 1 min extra time then that's not fair. Should be 30 seconds for every sub plus injuries. So 3 mins minimum. However, Villa no doubt wanted to get off the pitch asap, so we're probably not år$éd.

They averaged a goal a minute in stoppage time so if the correct amount of 6 minutes had been added then Villa would have drawn the game if they had kept up the average. You could argue that another 6 minutes should have been added on top of that though with Villa scoring 6 times in stoppage time so that would be 12-6 to Villa and that doesn't even take into account the goals villa score in the time that needs to be added on for villa scoring 12 in stoppage time. That would be another 12 minutes so 24-6 if it was fair and even then there would be 24 minutes added on on top of that because Villa scored 24 in stoppage time so a minute needs to be added on for each goal

It pretty much sums up the direction trump is taking us...

My point is the refs / officials do small things that can make a big difference

First few mins they don’t usually give cards even if they warrant one

They don’t usually give a second yellow even if it warrants one knowing that it would mean a red

I’ve seen many a match that has had tons of stoppages in the first half but the usual 1 min goes up and then nothing in the second half and the usual 3/4 goes up
